A strong medley of work. Heavy in homage, but the overall quality of the art and writing was very impressive (posing the question why there aren't more females in the comic industry). Though I am left curious as to the backstory of this motley crew and I think you should try more to differentiate them personality wise. One of the issues for a large group that doesn't do enough to spotlight the unique qualities of each member (and not just their power set) is that it becomes more difficult to learn their names by osmosis. All I know name wise thus far (via one read through) is someone's named Riz or Rei and another (unseen character) is Sam. And it's a fine line, straddling between well developed characters and piling on stocks (the vapid, the sporty, the always hungry, the goth), but I'm sure (based on the impressive display thus far) it's something you're up for.
